ITD held the workshop “Enhance Skill of Running Business to Serve Special Economic Area, Chiang Khong, under ASEAN Economic Community and Thailand 4.0

International Institute for Trade and Development (Public Organization) ITD held workshop “ Enhance Skill of Running Business to Serve Special Economic Area, Chiang Khong, under ASEAN Economic Community and Thailand 4.0 by cooperation with Transportation Institute Chulalongkorn University and Chiang Rai Chamber of Commerce on 28 – 29 December 2016 at Ibis Style Chiang Khong Riverfront, Chiang Khong, Chiang rai
Dr. Kamalin Pinichphuwadol, director of International Institute for Trade and Development (Public Organization) welcomed attendants and Mr. Sakchai Wongkanith, vice governor of Chiang Rai opened workshop. The first day of workshop, Opportunity of trade and investment under economic cooperation in region was described by Dr. Kamalin Pinichphuwadol, director of International Institute for Trade and Development (Public Organization) and the topic of “concept and strategy of running business to be successful was described by associate professor (special) Dr. Chakrit Duangpastra, director of Transportation Institute Chulalongkorn University. The second day, there was exchanging experiences about “ Enhancing Thai SMEs to serve Special Economic Area under ASEAN Economic Community and Thailand 4.0 by Dr. Anurat Inthorn, president of Chiang Rai Chamber of Commerce and specialists from many fields. The objectives of this workshop was to expect the participants to understand concept of running international trade and understand policy of new economy under Thailand 4.0 model, the connection of economy between sub-region, finding benefits and planning to expand opportunity of trade, investment and development in special economic area. The workshop was interested by many organizations from government and private section.
