Joint Cooperation on the Training of Sustainable Rural Development
A week of training workshop on “Rural Sustainable Development” has been organized during 13 – 17 June 2016 for officers of Laos and Thai at Mekong Institute (MI), Khon Kaen Province with the cooperation among ITD by Office of Regional Cooperation and Assistance, MI and Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA).

ITD’s Executive Director Dr. Kamalinne Pinitpuvadol gave a special lecture on ‘Opportunities for International Trade and Sustainable Development’ after a warm welcome of MI’s Executive Director Dr. Watcharas Leelawath. This training workshop will help participants to understand/ cope with the rise in the complexity of economic arrangements due to the process in the world economy, particularly development in the rural area. The philosophy of sufficiency economy of H.R.H. King Bhumibhol is included in the knowledge transfer.
