ITD arrange seminar about International Arbitration in ASEAN Community Period
On 26 July 2017, International Institute for Trade and Development (Public Organization) or ITD, Thai Arbitration Institute (TAI) and Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA) arrange seminar to distribute about International Arbitration in ASEAN Community Period at Centra by Centara Government Complex Hotel Chaeng Wattana, Bangkok.
This seminar aims to be able efficiently serve disputes which happen in this region and to prepare readiness for serving disputes which may happen in this region. Also, it aims to develop international arbitration to be acceptable in international level. Stopping disputes by using arbitration is an optional way which is acceptable and well known in international level and it tends to be morewell known among ASEAN community. Mr. Weerapol Tangsuwan, a chairman of Supreme Court opens the seminar, Mr. Athikom Inthuputh, a Secretary of Office of the Judiciary reports and welcomes representatives from Australian government, Dr. Kamalin Pinichphuwadol, Director of ITD and professor Khory McCormick (Vice-President of ACICA). This seminar is interested and attended by judges, prosecutor, lawyers, legal professions from government and private section and operator of arbitration for 300 persons.
