ITD arrange training “Regional Trade Policy Course for Asia and Pacific Members and Observers”
On 2 October 2017, International Institute for Trade and Development (Public Organization) cooperates with World Trade Organization: WTO and Chulalongkorn University arrange training course “Regional Trade Policy Course for Asia and Pacific Members and Observers” at Chulalongkorn University. This event is arranged during 2 October – 24 November 2017. Dr. Kamalin Pinichphuwadol, Director of International Institute for Trade and Development (Public Organization), Asst. Prof. Dr. Pomthong Malakul Na Ayutthaya, Vice President of Chulalongkorn University, Mr. Roberto Fiorentino, Counsellor, Institute for Training and Technical Cooperation (ITTC), WTO and Dr. Faustin Luanga, Head of Asia and Pacific Regional Desk at Institute for Training and Technical Cooperation, WTO open the event and welcome participants from government in 20 countries in Asia Pacific for 27 persons.
The objective of this event is to build deep understanding of role, rules, process of work under WTO and to develop skill of using database of WTO to be more useful and efficient, to develop researching information and document which concern with WTO, using new rules of WTO and building network of trading between officers of WTO, expert in regional level and government officers. This event is interested by participant very well.
The training course “Regional Trade Policy Course for Asia and Pacific Members and Observers” expects the participants to get more knowledge and the participants are able to bring knowledge and skill to apply to their work and they are able to transfer knowledge and skill to colleagues widely. Moreover, the participants are able to build connection among participants who are government officers from different countries in order for benefits of working and coordination in the future.
