Mr. Wimon Punkong, the Director of the Development and Research Promotion Division, and Mr. Khobtham Neelapaichit, a senior researcher, represented ITD at the event, which included representatives from government agencies of various Asian-Pacific countries and from international organizations as well as over 40 participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The primary objective of this practical expert consultation workshop was to gather insights from experts in regional development in the Asia-Pacific region. The workshop aimed to identify challenges and formulate collaborative strategies for poverty eradication, food security, equitable resource management, gender equality, climate change adaptation, disaster resilience, and the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr. Wimon Punkong presented the concept of the Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG) and its alignment with Thailand&#8217;s sustainable development goals. He highlighted that the BCG concept serves as a vital strategic tool for economic development and the achievement of sustainable development goals.
