On October 8, 2026, the International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD) had the distinct honor of hosting a delegation from the Climate Change in Southeast Asia Programme (CCSEAP) at the ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute, based in Singapore.

The visiting delegation met with ITD executives and representatives for a mutually beneficial exchange aligned with ITD’s pivotal role in steering regional trade toward sustainable and green economic growth. During the session, the ISEAS team introduced the work of CCSEAP and presented key findings from their flagship Southeast Asia Climate Outlook (SEACO) 2026 Survey report.

Both institutes engaged in a highly productive dialogue, exchanging views on critical regional issues such as trade policy and border carbon adjustments, cross-border energy trade, and resilient food supply chains. The meeting also provided an excellent opportunity to explore future research and knowledge-sharing collaborations between the two organizations.
