On June 7 and July 24, 2025, researchers and academics from the International Institute for Trade and Development (Public Organization), or ITD, engaged in discussions with FPT Vietnam. The meetings included an online session with Mr. Linh Nguyen Phuoc, CEO of FPT Thailand & FPT Taiwan, and a separate onsite meeting with representatives from FPT University in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The key topics of discussion focused on digital cooperation between Thailand and Vietnam, as well as opportunities and challenges for both countries and ASEAN. A particular emphasis was placed on human capital development to support trade and investment in future industries, particularly artificial intelligence and semiconductors. This collaboration is part of the research for the “Trade Intelligence Report 2025” under the National Trade Intelligence Community Project 2025.
