| On April 25, 2024, the International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD), in collaboration with Nakhon Phanom Province, Thailand, Khammouane Province, Lao PDR and Quang Binh Province , Viet Nam, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to develop paperless trade along the R12 route. The signing ceremony took place, at The Quarter Chaophraya by UHG, Thailand. The MOU aims to promote cooperation in developing paperless trade measures along the R12 route, as part of the “Improved Cross-Border Paperless Trade Measures” project.
