Mr.Suphakit Chareonkul, Executive Director of the International Institute for Trade and Development, Mr. Wimon Punkong, Deputy Executive Director (Academic) and ITD executive held discussions with Mr. Poonpong Naiyanapakorn, Executive Director of Trade Policy and Strategy Office at the Trade Policy and Strategy Office. The meeting focused on exchanging crucial trade-related information for Thailand, including key statistics and emerging issues affecting Thailand’s overall trade scenario and the economic trade direction in the Asian region.

The agenda also included discussions on the Trade Policy and Strategy Office’s 5-year plan spanning from 2023 to 2027. The officials deliberated on policies and strategies aimed at enhancing the country’s competitive capabilities. Additionally, the meeting served as a platform to present an overview of the institute’s mission, highlight areas of interest, and showcase significant projects. The participants also explored avenues for future collaboration to mutually benefit both organizations in the long term.
